    About the role

     

    The HR Manager, Australia, develops and enacts Sorbent & Solaris’ people and culture strategy, leading Australia’s HR function to manage all aspects of operational HR to support achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals and operational outcomes.This is a fixed term to permanent role for the right candidate.

     

    As the HR lead in Australia, the HR Manager is instrumental in driving talent attraction, engagement, retention, succession and cultural enrichment; building capability; driving best in class HR process through the entire BU; championing a safe, engaging, and productive workforce; and ensuring the delivery of company trust.

     

    What you will be doing

     

    • Provide strategic advice on a range of employee, workforce, and industrial relations matters, including developing strategies for enterprise bargaining negotiations and complex industrial matters.

    • Monitor, analyse and report on HR metrics and performance outcomes to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, awards and agreements, and optimal resource allocation.

    • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

    • In conjunction with the HRBP, Australia, provide support and HR leadership to managers and employees, particularly Operations and Supply Chain teams.

    • Lead and manage the HR team, building service delivery, business partnering, continuous improvement and drive efficiencies through streamlining processes.

    • Lead the roll out of performance management and deliver on P&C/L&D initiatives in alignment with the Tissue Business Regional HR team.

     

    What will make you successful

     

    • 7 years plus experience leading a HR business unit.

    • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource or related disciplines such as organisational design, change management.

    • High level understanding of HR/IR legislation, enterprise agreements and awards and demonstrated ability in the application in a FMCG environment.

    • Proficiency in sound HR practices and employment law.

    • Attention to detail with the ability to deliver on competing priorities.

    • Proven ability to manage a small team and act as a liaison between the Tissue Business Regional HR team and the local leadership team on business critical matters.

    • Exceptional influencing and relationship management ability, applied with diverse and senior stakeholder groups.

    • Strong experience in business integration, change management and HR functional transformation.

  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
